2019 Baja 1000

The 2019 Baja 1000 brought some un expected problems before the race even started! For three straight days before the race it rained in Baja which brought flash flooding and mud! The race was delayed for 24 hours to let the course dry out, but it was still wet!  We ran a great pace at the start of the race but then Baja bit back. We had a broken drive shaft, a few blown tires and couple fuel pumps that set us back early in the race along with a 25 minute bottle neck delay up in Mikes Sky Ranch. CVM crossed the finish line but unfortunately 45 minutes to late to qualify as a finisher. Even though we didn’t quite make it on time we are so proud of our team for never giving up and getting the car on track to push to the finish line.
